English Expressの2026年6月のField Trip Zoorasiahaはお天気も良くいい思い出になった事と思います。Manager・先生たちのコメントをお伝えします。

Kajigaya Manager 小川佳世子

Kindergartenの子どもたちは、これから出会えるであろう動物たちに胸を膨らませながら園内バスに乗り北門まで向かいました。
ゆったりと歩くジラフに出迎えられ、本物のライオンの低音の声におっかなびっくりし、ミーアキャットのかわいらしさに釘付けになり、オカピに出会えたことに感嘆し、MatthewとLewisの先導のもと次から次に普段は出会えない動物たちを見て、子どもたちは興奮していました。
サバンナの遊び場でひとしきり身体を動かしたあと、お腹をすかせた子どもたちは、わくわく広場で、それぞれが家から持ってきたお弁当を広げ、おいしそうに食べていました。
子どもたちは、一人ひとりが最後までしっかりと歩き、たくましい姿を見せてくれました。それぞれの子どもが、何かしら心に残るものを得たField Tripだったと思います。-小川

Kajigaya P1 Shane

This year’s spring field trip was a great time! The children all were so excited to go to the zoo, and Zoorasia didn’t disappoint! The preschoolers were all so eager to see the different animals. There were red pandas, monkeys, polar bears, and even a lion and a tiger! The kids stared in amazement at each exhibit, and it was such a great experience for them. Relaxing and eating lunch near the kangaroo exhibit was a fun time as well, and gave us a chance to talk about all of our favorite animals we saw. The experience will stay with me, and I’m sure the preschool kids will treasure the experience as well. -Shane

今年の春の遠足は本当に楽しい時間でした！子どもたちはみんな動物園に行くのをとても楽しみにしていて、ズーラシアは期待を裏切りませんでした！未就学児たちは、さまざまな動物を見るのを心待ちにしていました。レッサーパンダやサル、ホッキョクグマ、さらにはライオンやトラまでいました！子どもたちは各展示を驚きの表情で見つめており、彼らにとって本当に素晴らしい体験となりました。カンガルーの展示場の近くでくつろぎながら昼食をとった時間もとても楽しく、そこで見たお気に入りの動物についてみんなで話し合う機会にもなりました。この体験は私の心に残り続けるでしょうし、園児たちもきっとこの体験を大切に思い出として胸に刻んでくれるはずです。-シェイン

I think the recent zoo trip went well. The students all seemed to enjoy themselves. We saw lots of amazing animals such as a tiger, leopard, lions, penguins and a polar bear. We enjoyed a nice picnic lunch and the children especially loved eating their special snacks on the bus while we returned to the school. I’m sure the children will remember this field trip fondly. I feel it was a big success. -Brett

先日の動物園への遠足は、とても良いものになったと思います。生徒たちは皆、楽しんでいたようです。トラ、ヒョウ、ライオン、ペンギン、ホッキョクグマなど、たくさんの素晴らしい動物を見ることができました。ピクニックランチも美味しくいただきましたし、特に子どもたちは、学校に戻るバスの中で用意された特別なおやつを食べるのが大好きでした。子どもたちはきっと、この遠足を良い思い出として心に留めてくれるでしょう。遠足は大変成功したと思います。-ブレット

Our kindergarten trip to the zoo was a wonderful experience. The children were especially excited to see animals such as the lions, zebras, giraffes, okapi, chimpanzees, and a variety of exotic birds. Throughout the trip, the children showed great curiosity and asked many questions about the animals, their habitats, and their behaviours. I had a lot of fun answering their questions and encouraging their interest in learning more about the world around them. Seeing their enthusiasm and sense of wonder made the day both educational and enjoyable. -Lewis

幼稚園の動物園への遠足は、素晴らしい体験となりました。子どもたちは、ライオン、シマウマ、キリン、オカピ、チンパンジー、そしてさまざまな珍しい鳥たちを見ることに、とりわけ大喜びでした。遠足の間中、子どもたちは強い好奇心を示し、動物たちやその生息地、行動についてたくさんの質問をしていました。私は子どもたちの質問に答え、周囲の世界についてもっと学びたいという興味を育む手助けをすることができ、とても楽しい時間を過ごしました。子どもたちの熱意と驚きに満ちた表情を見て、この日は学びの多い、そして楽しい一日となりました。-ルイス

Kajigaya K2 Matthew

What a fantastic day full of wonderful experiences for the children. The children were able to get a close up view of so many animals that they learned about on our Africa knowledge board. Seeing the animals in person gives the students a chance to truly understand their size and appreciate them. We were able to review our knowledge of the animals and, in some cases, add some additional information. The students enjoyed a quick picnic lunch, some even had time to play on the playground before setting out for more adventure. All of the children spoke excitedly about their favourite parts of the day on the bus ride back to school and enjoyed the special snacks their parents had prepared for them. I was very pleased with the children’s behavior and their curiosity. I’m sure that the children will have great memories of the field trip. -Matthew

子どもたちにとって、素晴らしい体験に満ちた本当に素晴らしい一日でした。子どもたちは、当校のアフリカ学習ボードで学んだたくさんの動物を間近で観察することができました。実際に動物を目の当たりにすることで、生徒たちはその大きさを真に理解し、動物への感謝の気持ちを抱く機会を得ることができました。また、動物に関する知識を復習し、場合によっては新たな情報を学ぶこともできました。生徒たちは簡単なピクニックランチを楽しみ、中にはさらなる冒険に出かける前に遊び場で遊ぶ時間があった子もいました。学校へ戻るバスの中では、子どもたちは皆、その日一番楽しかったことについて興奮気味に語り合い、保護者の皆さんが用意してくださった特別なおやつも楽しみました。子どもたちの行儀の良さや好奇心には、とても感心しました。きっと子どもたちは、この遠足の素晴らしい思い出を胸に刻むことでしょう。-マシュー

新しいクラスに上がって初めてのField Trip。Zoorasiaに向かうバスの中の子供たちはワクワク半分、不安半分。その不安を隠すかのように強がってみせる子供たちが愛おしかったです。 子供たちは、写真や動画でしか見たことのない動物たちが今、目の前で生きている、動いていることを体感しました。動物たちの動きや表情もじっくり観察しました。誰一人脱落することなく皆しっかりと歩き、教室では得られない学びや発見がたくさんあった一日でした。　澤井顕子

Center Kita P1 Debora

The students brimmed with excitement as they got to see a plethora of animals. I would say the class favorite was the seals, which quickly captured their attention. They also had the opportunity to see a polar bear who was happy to swim and greet each of them with its snout against the glass. Each exhibit was met with curiosity, and I’m glad they had this opportunity to explore the amazing nature this world has to offer! It definitely was a successful trip. -Debora

生徒たちは、たくさんの動物を見ることができて、興奮で胸がいっぱいでした。クラスで一番人気だったのはアザラシで、たちまち生徒たちの注目を集めました。また、楽しそうに泳ぎ回りガラス越しに鼻先を押し付けて一人ひとりに挨拶してくれるホッキョクグマを見る機会もありました。どの展示も好奇心を持って観察しており、この世界が持つ素晴らしい自然を探索する機会を得られたことを嬉しく思います！間違いなく、大成功の遠足でした。-Debora

What a wonderful zoo adventure! Our kindergarten class observed incredible animals—zebras, lions, cheetahs, chimpanzees, and the ever-popular okapi. Rain greeted us on the ride there, but sunshine welcomed us at the zoo. The children’s wonder and enthusiasm made this field trip truly memorable! 　-Steven

素晴らしい動物園の冒険でした！私たちのクラスはシマウマ、ライオン、チーター、チンパンジー、そして大人気のオカピといった、素晴らしい動物たちを観察しました。行き道では雨が降っていましたが、動物園に着くと太陽が私たちを迎えてくれました。子どもたちの驚きと熱意のおかげで、この遠足は本当に忘れられないものになりました！　　-Steven

Our kindergarten students had an exciting adventure at Zoorasia! We set off on an African safari and discovered some amazing animals along the way. The children were thrilled to see zebras grazing, a speedy cheetah resting in the shade, and the unique okapi with its striped legs. One of the highlights of the day was watching a family of chimpanzees play, climb, and interact with one another. The trip was filled with wonder, learning, and lots of smiles as the children explored the animal world up close. It was a memorable day that everyone enjoyed! -Dominique

生徒たちはズーラシアでワクワクする冒険を楽しみました！アフリカのサファリに出かけ、道中で素晴らしい動物たちに出会いました。子どもたちは、草を食むシマウマや木陰で休む俊足のチーター、そして縞模様の脚が特徴的なユニークなオカピを見て大喜びでした。この日のハイライトの一つは、チンパンジーの家族が遊んだり、木に登ったり、互いに交流する様子を見ることができたことです。子どもたちは動物の世界を間近で探検することができ、この遠足は驚きと学び、そしてたくさんの笑顔に満ちたものでした。みんなが楽しんだ、忘れられない一日となりました！ -Dominique

子どもたちにとってこのField Tripは、想像を超えて心に残る楽しい一日となりました。
P1の子どもたちもお友達と手をつなぎ、自分たちのバックパックを背負い最後まで頑張って歩くことが出来ました。P2の子どもたちは、1年前よりも大きな成長を見せてくれP1のお友達をサポートしながら1日をうんと楽しむことが出来ました。途中で出会った様々な動物は、子どもたちにとって大きな思い出として心の中に残ったに違いないとキラキラ輝くそれぞれのお顔を見て感じました。K1とK2は、想像を超える大冒険を先生やお友達と共に経験しました。彼らにとって動物園は、ただの動物園では無く大冒険を繰り広げる森や山や大草原となったようです。楽しむ力をうんと身につけている子どもたちを見て子どもたちのたくましさを感じることも出来ました。　岡林明子

Utsukushigaoka P1 John

Our trip to Zoorasia was so much fun for both the kids and staff. The students really enjoyed seeing so many different animals from all around the world. We saw an elephant, a number of different types of monkeys, polar bears, red pandas, and more! My personal highlight was the polar bears, but I think the students enjoyed the lion, as it began to roar right in front of us. This experience was a great for the students as it introduced them to different species and where they come from. I believe that the students, as well as myself, are very much looking forward to going again next year!　 -John

私たちのズーラシアへの旅は、子どもたちもスタッフもとても楽しかったです。生徒たちは世界中から集まったさまざまな動物を見ることを本当に楽しんでいました。象やさまざまな種類のサル、ホッキョクグマ、レッサーパンダなどを見ました!私の個人的なハイライトはホッキョクグマでしたが、生徒たちはライオンを楽しんでいたと思います。ライオンが私たちの目の前で吠え始めたのです。この経験は生徒たちにとって素晴らしいもので、異なる種や彼らの出身地を紹介する機会となりました。学生たちも私も、来年もまた行くのをとても楽しみにしていると信じています!　 -John

Utsukushigaoka P2 Simon

The P2 class had a wonderful time on our zoo trip. Although the weather was not ideal, everyone stayed positive and had lots of fun. The children enjoyed seeing many different kinds of animals throughout the day. The highlight of the trip was the polar bear, which swam right up to the viewing window. Everyone was excited to see it so close. The students also learned interesting facts about the animals. They were well behaved and showed great enthusiasm during the visit. Our picnic lunch was another special part of the day, and everyone enjoyed eating together. It was a great opportunity to make happy memories with friends. We are very proud of the P2 class for making the trip such a success.　 -Simon

P2クラスはズーラシアへのField Tripで素晴らしい時間を過ごしました。天気は理想的ではありませんでしたが、皆、積極的にに楽しんでいました。子どもたちは一日を通してさまざまな動物を見るのを楽しみました。旅のハイライトはホッキョクグマで、観察窓まで泳いできました。みんなこんなに近くで見ることに興奮していました。生徒たちは動物に関する興味深い事実も学びました。彼らは礼儀正しく、訪問中は大きな熱意を示していました。ピクニックランチも特別な一日で、みんなで一緒に食事を楽しみました。友人たちと幸せな思い出を作る素晴らしい機会でした。P2クラスがこの旅をこれほど成功させてくれたことをとても誇りに思います。-シモン

Our Kindergarten class had a fantastic day exploring Zoorasia. The children were buzzing with excitement from the moment we arrived. Their eyes lit up seeing the giraffes, lions, and cheetahs up close—and they asked so many questions about what the animals eat and how they move! The children absolutely loved pretending to be on safari, walking around the spacious, nature-filled habitats while pointing out animals they had only ever seen in storybooks. The playground breaks were a big hit too, giving everyone a chance to run, climb, and laugh together. This wonderful outdoor experience sparked curiosity about animals and their homes. We were so proud to see their confidence grow as they observed carefully and helped each other spot hidden creatures. A truly unforgettable day of discovery for everyone.-Sam

私たちのK1クラスはゾーラシアを探検する素晴らしい一日を過ごしました。私たちが到着した瞬間から、子どもたちは興奮でざわめいていました。キリンやライオン、チーターを間近で見ると目が輝き、動物たちが何を食べ、どう動くのかについてたくさん質問をしました!子どもたちはサファリに出かけているふりをして、広々とした自然に囲まれた生息地を歩きながら、おとぎ話の本でしか見たことのない動物たちを指し示すのが大好きでした。遊び場での休憩も大好評で、みんなで一緒に走ったり登ったり笑ったりすることができました。この素晴らしい屋外体験は、動物とその住処に対する好奇心をかき立てました。彼らが注意深く観察し、隠れた生き物を見つけるのを助け合う中で自信がついていくのを見て、私たちはとても誇りに思いました。誰にとっても忘れられない発見の日です。 -サム

Utsukushigaoka K2 Jesse

Utsukushigaoka Kindergarten had quite the adventure in Africa! First up was the savanna – it was full of all the creatures we had been studying on the knowledge board recently. Lions, giraffes, zebras and more. With few exceptions though, the cheetah was the favorite. We crossed the savanna and came to river which we had to cross via on old, rickety rope bridge. Watch out! There might be crocodiles in the water… After that it was into the Congo rainforest. We made camp near the red river, and the home of a few red river hogs. There was also a family of chimpanzees nearby, though we steered clear of them. We marched through the jungle, passing a safari station, porcupines, and finally some okapi. Finally we arrived at a local train station and finished out trip to Africa… er …Zoorasia! What an adventure it was!-Jesse

キンダーガーデンはアフリカでかなりの冒険を経験しました!最初はサバンナで、最近知識ボードで学んでいた生き物たちがたくさんいました。ライオン、キリン、シマウマなど。しかし例外はほとんどなく、チーターが一番の人気でした。サバンナを越え、古くてガタガタのロープ橋を渡らなければならなかった川に出ました。気をつけて!水の中にワニがいるかもしれない。その後、コンゴ熱帯雨林へと入りました。私たちはレッドリバーの近くにキャンプを張り、数匹のレッドリバーイノシシの住処にいました。近くにはチンパンジーの家族もいましたが、私たちは避けていました。ジャングルを進み、サファリステーションやヤマアラシ、そして最後にオカピを通り過ぎました。ついに地元の駅に到着し、アフリカへの旅を終えました。ズーラシア!なんて冒険だったのでしょう! 　 -ジェッシー
